Today I finally managed to get through the “Chess Set” chapter of the Blender 3D modelling course on Udemy.
This part started off by working in edit mode, using reference material and modifiers such as the mirror modifier.
In the middle of the section we went through the Shading tab and how to use rendering nodes to create different textures.
Toward the end I learned more about rendering settings by setting the camera focal length, aperture and simulating Depth of Field effects.
